According to Dr. Reynolds, the timing of CARIFESTA XV couldn’t have been more perfect since it is coming on the heels of the publication and national book signing tour of his two latest books: Magna: A Memoir of the Enduring Human Spirit, and The Promised Land (the first book of the Vieux Chronicles), both of which have been receiving rave reviews from readers and critics alike.
As part of Dr. Reynolds’ involvement in this Caribbean cultural exposé, he will not only conduct book readings and signings, but at 10 AM on Wednesday, 27 August, will serve on a discussion panel titled The Caribbean Publishing Journey, and at 4 PM will participate in a special launch of Magna. In addition, all of his eight books will be showcased and available for purchase at CARIFESTA’S special Grand Market, located at Waterford Place, St. Michael, and open daily 8 AM to 10 PM, August 23–31, 2025.

Dr. Anderson Reynolds was born and raised in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia, where he resides. He holds a Ph.D. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
