Staged Readings on Tuesday, February 6, island wide.

In observance of Nobel Laureate Festival activities, Friends of the Library in association with Library Services and the Saint Lucia Writers Forum presents

The event which will be held in different locations will see vibrant, invigorating portrayals of work from Sir Derek Walcott’s poems and plays and presentations on the work of Sir Arthur Lewis.
At the Canaries Library the event will be at 4:30 pm, 12 pm at the Vieux Fort Library; at the Roblot Library at 10:45 am; Mongouge Library at 3:30 pm. Anse LA Raye and Marchand Libraries will be holding their activities in conjunction with schools in their areas.

The Central Library will host its activity at the Castries Constituency Council at 7 pm and will feature the likes of Vladimir Lucien, Gandolph St Clair, Travis Weeks, Femi Renee, Kennedy “Boots” Samuel, Claudius “Peto” Francis and the Writers Forum. Friends of the Library invites members of the general public to support their local libraries and attend this free event in their respective communities.
