2023 YOUTH SUMMER ARTS PLATFORM – VIEUX FORT

The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) is back with its Annual Youth Summer Arts Platform (YSAP) which will be held both in the Northern and Southern districts. The programme offers an opportunity for youth to nurture their artistic talents, gain a historical perspective and develop a deeper appreciation of our Saint Lucian cultural heritage while engaging in arts forms that enhance learning, develop creativity, and promote culture.
This year, the programme will continue to focus on the traditions of Saint Lucia and will offer the following areas in the Southern district:
- Traditional Drumming & Percussion
- Traditional Dance
- Visual Art
- Stilt-walking
- Traditional Masquerade (Theory & Practical) & Costume Design
- Lantern Making
